The brief
CricDost, a cricket scoring and community app, wanted to level up its social media game. I planned and designed a month of posts for its Instagram, Facebook and Twitter handles.
Their challenge: they had a great product, but their social posts were not connecting emotionally with fans. My goal was to change that, and to create designs that felt like cricket itself: dynamic, bold and full of movement.
My objective was to design a series of posts that
Build awareness for the CricDost app
Capture the energy and emotion of cricket lovers
Stay consistent across campaigns and formats (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter)
Make people stop scrolling and start downloading
Highlights
What I shipped
Countdowns, trivia cards, match results and player features
The full range of post types for match-day engagement.
Performance ads
I collaborated with the CricDost marketing team to adapt the designs for performance ads.
A modular template system
Future updates could be done in minutes.
30%+ engagement boost From a 12-post quiz campaign I created for the IPL season launch.
Design approach
The design direction was built around three keywords: Energetic. Local. Modern.
The colour palette borrowed the intensity of stadium lights: bright oranges, deep blues and vibrant greens. Typography was bold, often italicised, mimicking the speed of a ball in motion. I used motion-inspired shapes and overlapping layers to keep every frame alive.
I handled the end-to-end visual design, from concept sketches to final assets
Designed campaign layouts for match-day engagement
Created typography that reflects the pace and excitement of the game
Integrated player imagery, stats and CTA placement for brand recall
Aligned with the in-app design style of CricDost for consistency
Takeaway
Just like cricket has a tempo, your visuals need one too.
This project reminded me how powerful visual rhythm can be. When every post moves with energy and intent, the audience feels it.
